1. Great name, haven't heard them.

My nephew said he loves them, but as I wasn't a fan a The Mars Volta I didn't bother to check them out. I'll have to give it a listen.

Ok, I just checked out a couple of tunes. I like the sound, but the vocals are a no-go for me. Never been a fan of the rap style over non-rap music (with the exception of the mighty Dalek). Not bad lyrics, just not digging the voice. It's kind of like a Beastie Boys sound to his voice, without the tongue in cheek vibe the B-Boys have. They do have a decent funk thing underlying some of it though.

Overall it's not bad, and I can see others digging it. My musical tastes just run to the more extreme, so don't go by my word. :)
