6. Very interesting.
I love old books and magazines; in fact my daughter recently brought home from the bookstore a number of old books from the twenties through the fifties - one of them is on Currier & Ives and is full of tissue-covered prints. They're beautiful and it makes a great collection. In the kitchen I have advertisements for kitchen products and food taken from old magazines like Life -I had them framed to make a matching set of about thirteen or fourteen neat ads. One is for the "new delicacy" i.e. Raisins! Another one says, "Be Lazy, Lady!" and shows a housewife with an updo, an apron and high heels, kicking back in a chair. It's an ad for TV dinners! Birds-eye, I think, but I'm not sure.

Show us more when you get a chance, jasonc.

13. I had a grandmother who had an attic with balldresses, trunks, top hats
and stuff in it. We were up there one day when I was a kid and found an old monopoly game from the 1930s. My sister still may have it I think.
