1. Shorter than me? He'd have to be a bloody hobbit to be shorter than me.

3. Speaking as a man who never dated a woman over 6 feet tall,
Being only 5'11" myself, I'd have to say I have no clue what goes through the minds of such people. Of course, many women under 5'11" have never dated me either...So what do I know, and why do I even reply here, except maybe I'm trolling for a date with a woman, any woman, and if she happens to bebigger than me, well so much the better! The more there is, the more to love!

4. I am not unattached nor dating, but ...
... I had to weigh in here.

I'm only five feet tall myself (just barely), so the entire world is pretty much taller than me. But I've always had a thing for short men. I think it goes back to high school days, when the "short" guys always compensated for their lack of stature by being wittier, smarter, funnier, etc. than the tallest guys in the room.

But here's the thing: I have been crazy about Robert Reich since the first time I saw him - and, no, I don't usually get all hot and bothered about former Secretaries of Labor - but there's something about THIS guy that drives me wild: intelligent, articulate, savvy, and a sense of humour.

RR is 4'10", which makes him shorter than me - albeit not by much. But had I met him when I was young, beautiful and single, I'd be Mrs. Reich by now - because I wouldn't have taken no for an answer.

I post this with the full knowledge of my guy (JeffR) - who KNOWS about my Robert Reich "thing" (which puzzles him no end). Thing is, despite JeffR's six-foot stature, I was willing to overlook his excessive height due to other qualities - like still being the sexist guy in the universe - (Robert Reich being a close second).

So there you have it - I have now officially outed myself as an RR adorer.

6. Speaking as a short guy (5'7''), I don't know either
I just don't know... without being offensive, let me just say I don't see myself ever being with a woman who's taller than me.
