Non-simple 401k question for any financial folks out there
A certain asset (a bond index) that I have in my 401K shows up with a Net Asset Value of 14.50 when I look on the site where the 401k is held.
Looking up the the NAV of the asset everywhere else show 10.50.
Calling up, I was told that it is because they hold out a certain amount as cash, whatever that means.

It's not like I've lost money as the purchase of the fund was at the higher price, and selling it would be at that amount.

Anybody have any ideas?

And everybody have a great weekend. I know I will as I'm heading north to visit ny 4 1/2 month old granddaughter.
