Lounge: Motivate me to make this Pizza, please!
I need to cook, but I'm laaaazy.

I need to make the dough, chop garlic, pepper, onion, olives and grate Parm.

Then, assemble and cook.

I have couch lock. Halp!

1. is this for tonight?
isn't it kinda late for cooking? (Good excuse to continue to sit on yer butt on the couch and play with the new kitty).

Sounds really good, though.

2. It's Saturday, we stay up late...
We'll be up until probably 1-3, between the two of us. This is kinda early. I've been known to start cooking at 11. :o

3. same here. We're pretty regularly up until 3 a.m., though
tonight it'll be earlier (I hope) since we have to leave here by 9 a.m.

A few nights ago we had 'dinner' at midnight. I like our skewed schedule.

You definitely want to have dinner done in time for SNL's Tina Fey / Sarah Palin skit, so maybe that'll serve as motivation...

9. Silly...If I could just order a Veggie Lover's from the Hut, I would!
This is our marital compromise. He hates the Hut, so I make it here. Sigh.

:P

11. if you make enough to freeze, you can have homemade pizza any time you want...
:9

Will come in handy when you don't have time to cook.

That's a little bit motivating, yes?

12. The dough is your big hurdle.
The dough you finish, fall into place the rest will.

13. Actually, the dough doesn't bug me, it's the veggie chopping
The dough is together in about 5-7 minutes. But then it's garlic slicing, onion chopping, pepper slicing, olive slicing and Parm grating. Yawn.

But, the end result is sooo worth it. :)

16. Make Sniffa do it.
I, as the person who actually cooks, reserve the right to delegate any menial kitchen chores I don't feel like cooking to anybody who doesn't have the good sense to leave the house while I'm cooking.

I call LeftyKid my lil' Cuisinart.

17. I'm rather protective of my Pizza process...
Anything else, and I totally enlist him in veggie chopping. The pizza, I want everything just so, so it's all on me. Once I actually get off of the couch, it'll be smooth sailing. :)

14. Bread machines are a great thing...
...they can work the dough, while you work on the ingredients.
