dilema.....to shave or not to shave
on my last visit to the hospital, the doc advised that I stop shaving under my arms for risk of further irritation and or infection. He also admitted that no matter what I choose, the problem will come back, it the kind of infection that will def. reoccur. Personally, I like to be shaven.......I'm undecided if I should stop just for the slight improvement........will wait at least three weeks regardless, as he advised.....not really wanting medical advice......just curious I guess on how people feel about girls with hairy armpits......

1. Winter's coming, no one will notice for a few months, anyway.
Unless, you know, you get to have fun, but then I doubt the armpits are going to be at the center of awareness then.

5. no... I would stick with a women's safety razor. I would even
consider using the one time only single blades...

7. Have you thought about waxing?
I would not advocate doing it yourself. Tried it once... OUCH! Although, I have never tried a professional waxing, so who knows!

9. I have
not afraid of the pain at all.......in one case, the irritation to the skin would be more severe, but it would happen less often........hmmmmm

11. Consider creams
and depilatories? They don't irritate skin like a soap and razor. Plus, you don't have to use them as often. For myself, I enjoy the smoothness.

12. I don't know if it's cost prohibitive, but
you might ask him his thoughts on the laser hair removal process. After a few treatments, it just never grows back. Hell, roll the dice and see if insurance will pay for it.

14. I was hoping for that
since it is a medical reason. Plus I can imagine that being all hairy, may irritate the skin as well........I'll have to look into that.

13. have you considered using an electric razor?
they don't shave as close, but they might not cause the irritation that a blade does.
