Yeah, it may have been good for business, but that damned RNC was a giant PAIN IN THE ASS for those of us who have to LIVE by the convention site.

And better yet, now Obama/Biden leads McCain/Palin by 12% in Minnesota.

I can't wait for McCain/Palin to go down in flames this fall.

4. w00t!
Let the unpacking begin in earnest!

I've been moving house most of this week, and took the week off work. I'm glad I did, because I've seen my workplace about a brazillian times on TV this week, as it was right on Cedar St., on the main parade route by the state capitol. They had guards stationed at the building and were checking IDs all week.

Now maybe St Paul can get back to the business of being Minneapolis's boring, sleepy, older sister city with a downtown that rolls up its streets at 5 p.m. on weeknights. :)

I moved into my new place this week, so indeed it is a new beginning. :)

6. We have the momentum
I don't think the GOP will get much of a bounce off this convention. It wasn't that exciting, and they didn't really make their case IMHO. :hi:

7. I drive past the airport every morning
and this morning I saw airplanes taking off, figured they were full of departing Republicans, and I rejoiced because the evil fuckers are getting the hell out of my city. Now we have to perform an exorcism.

9. There needs to be an anti-gop convention there
just to neutralize the evil vibes given off this last week.
