On the way over to the next door building to pick up my laundry I walked through a huge spider web. This sucker was enormous, big enough that it hung off both my ears.

And caught the small moth that flew by me. Which proceeded to get stuck to my neck.

The dance that ensued where by I flailed around, arms gyrating wildly running around in circles yelling 'get it off! GET IT FUCKING OFF!' probably was hilarious to anyone who saw it.

I can still feel the ghostly sensation of it, a bit like a phantom limb must feel like.

I know how it feels. Once when I was riding the motorbike way too late down from the mountains, I ran into a bat at about 25 mph. The little dude spent some time clawing at my jersey, and had to be pulled rather flapping from my chest.

And yes, even writing about it I still get the oogy. :D

The one's with the egg shaped abdomens are the worst. The house I grew up in had hundreds of those living on the porch. You had to walk under the huge nests on the ceiling to get inside. And we had a bat colony in the attic.
