[The Straight Story]

I am moving back to Ohio this weekend, and will be living with dad - and this video I made of mom is on my mind tonight.

Dad had a long and wonderful life with mom, and now he is in ill health himself.

I wish I could give him a time machine to go back and live it again with her. I can't, so this is the best I can do.

50 years married, and now he is ready to go home and see her. Can't blame him. She was a good woman, and they loved each other deeply.

Lost my mom in '96 (way too young) and my dad last year. Wish I could have made something like that for either of them.

I'm happy for you that you'll be able to spend this tims with your dad, and I'm sure he'll be glad for it too.
