i am going to either start screaming or crying.
i am trying to replace to flex plates on some patio chairs and i need a socket wrench and i have several but they are all too long to fit the space between the bottom of the chair and the plate. My fingers are fucking killing me from trying to use the channel locks on one side and crescent wrench on the other. I am so goddamn aggravated!!! AAAAARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH!

4. you know maybe if i did have a beer it might help me solve this problem.
i just walked away from the chairs hoping something would come to me, like some magical short socket wrench dropped off by elves.

5. I wish you lived next door. We have every tool ever created, and
some that were only thought up in the mind of my husband. They have come in handy now that I do all this crap by myself.

7. Would a pair of old fashioned open end wrenches do the job?
Just an idea. Been there, done that.

8. they would but the space is really confined, like a few inches up, down and sideways.
i broke out every wrench set i had trying to find the ratchet with the 9/16th short attachment and it's not there.
