1. I tried watch that movie, but it was too weird for me.

2. I loved it. Spooky without CGI,just ordinary people.

In an extrordinary place. It gives me chills to here Indrid Cool on the answering machine.

You know...I just looked over at my bookshelf and I noticed I have five books about the Mothman. No joke.

5. They botched that movie

The book on which it was based lends itself to an off-kilter treatment, but the movie takes itself too seriously. The actual Point Pleasant affair had a whole string of high strangeness, with everything from Men In Black to UFO sightings to a weird, hyperactive midget running around downtown. In the right hands, this could have been a brilliant piece of dark humor.
