15. Let's pretend for a moment that you knew at least 10 women

like the one you mentioned. And many many others who talked trash about how they wish they could be like that woman if given the chance.

Yes, after a good 20 years or so of meeting woman after woman like that (even "happily" married ones) I would think you should feel free to generalize somewhat.

Likewise if many of the prominent women in the media (Hillary, Oprah, etc.) were being caught in extramarital affairs (which you'll notice, they never are). Every few weeks, some dude is getting outed on television.

On edit: Oh, and add into that mix being hit on many times over the years by married women (I've had married men hitting on me since about age 17--no joke). One starts to see the light after awhile, unless one is an idiot.

It relates to the question posed to me at a dinner, "But will america elect a black man? A BLACK man??" (exact quote). My reply was, "If not, then I want to see it first hand. I want to KNOW this about america."

But a lot of men I've encountered don't seem to see what the "big deal" is about infidelity. More so by far than the women I've known.

Most guys I've heard talking about the subject (especially to other guys) make it clear that they'd "do it" as long as no one found out. I've only had one female friend who held the same belief.

I'd love to pretend that it isn't the case just to please you, but I'd be lyiing. This has been my experience, and that's what I'm basing my opinion on...what else can I do?

14. I don't know about hate

It's more stupid preconceptions. Statistically, (that friendly word) men are less likely to stick with a spouse who is going through health difficulties.

That being said, I can't the times I've seen loving men when I worked in LTC, and now where I work with extremely sick people on a transplant unit, stick by their significant others through thick and thin. Generalizations like that do the wonderful men a who've made incredible sacrifices for the good and health of their SO's a disservice to say the very least.

I'm considered a radical feminist (which came as something as a surpise to me, but fuck it, let my freak flag fly) and even I know better that to paint all men with the same brush when it comes to loving care and concern.
