I was splitting firewood this weekend and just as I started to swing the ax I shifted my position a little. I have no idea why I shifted. I basically just readjusted my weight as I started swinging the ax. I think it's because I'm just that smooth.

As soon as the ax hit the wood I felt it right in the small of my back. Now I'm all stiff and sore and whatnot.

I think I'm going to rent a wood splitter for that job, though. The bitch is that this wood won't even be seasoned for burning this winter.
