One of my cats just caught and ate a HUGH grasshopper.
I opened the door just a crack to put a Fedex hanger on the doorknob, and an enormous grasshopper flew in. My tabby-siamese chased it around the apartment for about a minute, caught it and scarfed it right down. :scared:

1. Protein!
My tortie was eating SOMETHING big and crunchy right in my ear when I was sleeping a week or so ago. I don't EVER want to know what it was. :scared:

2. My cat eats bugs too.
Then generally she sits down and primly gives herself a thoroughly cat 'bath.'

Did your kitteh knock over any lamps trying to catch the grasshopper? I hate when that happens.

3. Well, our cat threw up all over the window sill and it dripped down
onto the phone wires, earlier this evening. :puke:

THAT was fun to clean up.

5. The bible says that John the Baptist ate nothing but locusts and honey
so why shouldn't cats eat grasshoppers? Pretty similar bugs, aren't they?
