Mullet Confession Thread
Once, in the late 1980s, I had a mullet.

I hang my head in shame.

Anyone care to join me with tales of misplaced fashion sense?

1. No, but I grew a Mike Patton, Epic era.
Very long, dyed maroon with the temples/sides shaved and dyed blue and the checkerboards shaved in.

No, there are NO pictures. Misplaced fashion sense? You betcha.

14. Mike Patton is GOD.
His fashion sense is NOT to be questioned, nor mocked.

That is all.

2. I used to wear turquoise shortalls
And, I thought they matched my royal blue Nike Cortez, and the expansion team, San Jose Sharks tee and hat.

I also had spray painted jeans.

Later on, when I was a raver, I rocked wide-leg jeans, which I still have, and wear occasionally to horrify Bi-Baby. :D

My male pattern baldness has caught up with me, and I've recently gone very short (again, after years). As my hair was being cut, I noted that the sides and top had been done, but the back was still nearly to my shoulders. I asked the barber to stop so that I could have a mullet. He replied, "This is a mullet-free zone". I asked him to post a circle-slash sign with that phrase :)

7. The rat tail I did have a little bit of.
But that's just 'cause I was trying to grow my hair out as much as possible.

9. I'm curly headed Italian, had a fro in high school in early 70's.
And tie dyed crap.

Groovy.

12. Angel's Flight wide bells, Ohio Players heels...
Brady collars, puffed sleeves.

And all in purples and reds.

There is not a single fashion sin I have not committed -- the 70's were unkind.

13. I wanted a mod haircut my senior year of high school.
No one in Texas new what the fuck mod was. Instead I got the single dorkiest haircut imaginable, like that of a certain software billionaire. I had to get my senior picture taken with that haircut.

I did the right thing - I chopped it up and dyed it black.
