Hey loungers! Ever had one of THOSE days?
So I left for work this morning, still dealing from the discomfort from the wisdom tooth extraction that caused me to bleed out during the night on Monday night.

I was late getting on the road, realized I had no money and discovered from the ATM that I REALLY had no money :banghead:

Got on the highway, drove about 20 minutes and hit a snarl of traffic. When I slowed down, I heard my car was sounding loud and sure enough, flat tire

I waited 30 minutes for the AAA guy to show up and put the spare on for me - he told me there was an accident up ahead but that the traffic was moving along.

I got back on the highway and ended up stuck in traffic for two hours :banghead::nuke::banghead:

By this point, I was already 3 hours late for work and my mouth was throbbing. It started bleeding again and so I got off the next exit and tried to find a place that could fix the flat. The two places I tried were "out of tire repair kits" :eyes:

I started heading back south to go back to the dentist and stop by the dealer where I KNOW they would fix the car. I made it to the dentist - he gave me a script for pain meds :bounce: and I went to get the tire fixed.

Tire is bad - no fixing possible. Gotta replace all of them because it's AWD and that will get messed up if it is not done that way - at least that is what I have always heard.

So there I am - crying because of the pain, crying because I have no money in the bank and my poor car (which has 182k miles on it) is hurting, and then Voila! I remembered the little kitty of money I had put away for the rainy day ...

So Loungers, I am going to pick up my NEW CAR (at least new to me) in about an hour! :bounce::bounce:

This really crappy day ended up being a terrific day :D

3. I got a 2005 outback wagon to replace the 2000 outback wagon.
Pretty boring, I know, but I just love my car and I know that it will be reliable in the snow, etc.

I still can't believe I managed to pull all that out after such a horrible start.

I called my stepdad to lament and he gave me the third degree about how I should not put any more money into the old car and that is why he gave me his old car to have as a backup. Well, I showed him! That old backup car sucks so I traded that puppy in too :D

6. thanks lost
:hi::hug:

I have been looking forward to getting a new car, but dreading all the drama involved too. I am glad I got to deal with it completely alone today - no Mr MB, no little one, just me and the salesman.

7. Did your Dentist give the blue stuff that stops the bleeding.
I remember stopping at the drug store to pick the meds after the oral surgery.

I started to bleed and really freaked out a woman in the bathroom with all the blood that came from my mouth.

The blue stuff stopped the bleeding really fast, once I got it.

Sorry for you bad day, I had one to.

Lets hope tomorrow is better for both of us.

8. He said it looked fine, that the weather made it bleed
 It is pretty hot and I had to sit in the car w/o the AC because of the traffic.

Sorry you had a bad day

9. That was bad,
I hope your mouth feels better soon.

When I had my wisdom teeth out, it was all painless.

Didn't have any pain afterwards.

The only story I have is about the bleeding in the bathroom, and the woman running out screaming.

It is funny now.
