Well, sortakinda. We're not really "dating," per se, but he's a good friend and we have sort of an on-again/off-again relationship (nothing really dramatic - really the only reason it hasn't worked out consistently is because of distance). Anyway, he's in the area tonight, and we're going out to dinner, and I'm really kind of excited (and maybe a little nervous, I guess). :) I'll let you guys know how it went afterwards, lol...right now I just wanted to share this extremely rare event for me. ;) :hi: Peace!

First of all, thanks to everyone who wished me well - I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to reply to each of you, but I did read your responses and you are all very sweet. :hug: Anyway, the date went really well - we went out to a local restaurant for a late dinner, then came back to my house where he spent the night. I had to work the next day from 8:30-12:30, so while I was at work he did some sight-seeing and touristy-type things, and then we met for lunch and I showed him around a little bit. We talked, listened to music, etc., and it was just really good to catch up with him again. :) And, yes, we've decided to give the whole dating thing another try - who knows how long it will last, as the long-distance thing has been an issue before and we're both pretty busy, but we talked about it and decided it was worth a shot. :) So, that's my past two days in a nutshell. :hi: Peace!
