2. have you seen blow?
Edited on Thu Feb-19-04 02:22 PM by Mass_Liberal
I watched the first half which was cool. But then I got busy and was unable to finish it.

Johnny Depp was rockin. But is it worth renting to see the other half?

8. Yes, please do
"Blow" your whole wad! :P Sorry, couldn't resist.

Yes, Blow is a very good, but utimately tragic story. That's all I'll say so as not to spoil it for you.

Johnny's impersonation of George Jung is dead on.

My interest in Johnny is purely intellectual... and very much on the metaphysical plane.

I eat it in amounts more suited to condiments than entree courses. My peculiar culinary eccentricities are owing to health concerns.

34. I eat vegan meat -- does that count?
Processed pseudo-meat made for bacteria, fungi, etc.

NOT the meat off the bones of a human vegan!

39. Reluctantly, yes
I really don't like the idea of killing animals since there are many other ways now to get our nutrition. The problem is getting myself to stop.

46. Mostly chicken and fish
Actually, I eat lots of fish. I get a lot of my protein from other sources - soy, wheat gluten, beans, nuts and seeds, etc. I eat eggs, but I don't eat very much dairy at all - it doesn't agree with me. But occasionally I eat a steak and I usually really enjoy it.

48. It has been a real struggle for me...
Edited on Sat Feb-21-04 10:25 AM by thom1102
I love meat and couldn't become a vegetarian, but I depise the meat packing industry and the way these animals are treated. I have a bit of a compromise: I puchase my meat from Wild Oats, which insures their meat comes from animals who are treated and raised humanely with no growth hormones or antibiotics. I only purchase eggs from free range chickens. I pay a premium for these things, but at least my concious is partially assuaged.
