Poll question: What's WORSE...Rush or bands that SOUND LIKE Rush?
Tiles used to be a pretty cool band, but on the new album, they threw it all away to crank out a Rush album (including guest appearances by Alex Lifeson on guitar).

2. I'll say Rush just because Coheed and Cambria share a similarity (mainly in the vocals) to Rush ...
But I love them neverteheless.

I don't know Tiles though, so they might be bad too.

3. Tiles was a generic Yes/Genesis/King Crimson second-generation prog band...
...a guilty pleasure for me because they were loud and featured a lot of guitar solos, but on the new album, SOMEONE sat down and said "Let's be Rush"...

...and I feel like Rush already DID that so Tiles wouldn't HAVE to, ya know...

6. Probably has to be other
Obviously it's not Rush, as they are the greatest band ever. And I can't fault bands that try to sound like Rush, because they are imitating the height of musical quality.

A related bit of trivia: the subtitle of Triumph's Greatest Hits album "Classics"

was "No, we're not Rush!"

7. There are certain songs where Rush is effectively no better than a Rush clone
But when they're firing on all cylinders they're solidly good. Clones can't match them.
