1. We're going to go the the same Clam Shack we've gone to every year
since the Mother's Day when Mrs R was pregnant.

We searched all over, that year, to find a restaurant that wasn't jammed full. Ended up happily eating a terrific lunch at the Clam Shack, so we've done it every year since.

And they even have outstanding cheeseburgers to the shellfish-allergic like me.

13. I'm going to have a great mother's day
I asked to stay home instead of go out to eat (too crowded, too expensive). The teens will help me cook, we'll watch a movie as a family together, and they're going to help me work in my garden.

I'm a gardening nut, so I'm going to take advantage of the free labor. hehe

And the icing on the cake would be nice weather!

2. I don't have a mother
anymore. So, it's just another Sunday. I'll call my dad to make sure he's okay. Happily, it's Pentecost this year, so I'm doing confirmations, which will be a distraction.

Hope all you moms have a good day! :hi:

10. Not quite sure yet.
Been too busy nursing pregnant daughter who had a seizure with all test coming back negative. I guess that's a good thing, but it still leaves questions unanswered.

I'll be happy just to be with both my daughters and 4 grandbabies. LOVE to roll & play on the floor with them. (the babies, that is).

11. daughter has a frickin' softball tournament scheduled this weekend (and an out-of-town one at that),
as she does *every* single* *frickin'* *damn* *weekend* between now and the 4th of July. The Fourth is the ONE weekend not scheduled between now and the end of July/first week of August. (some *might* get cancelled if they either qualify for "nationals" early, or if it looks like qualifying is hopeless. ) A rain-out would be nice too, but only if rainout of a local tournament. Spending megabucks to travel (gas & inflated hotel costs) THEN getting rained out absofuckinlutely sucks.

WHAT Mother's day? None for me. (of course, they could get eliminated on Saturday, then Sunday might be a semi-OK day. But I would be an evil mom to even mention that.)

ACK. :banghead: :banghead:

15. Me! Me!
My Mom, Dad and sister will be visiting to see WMUette play soccer. Then we will spend the rest of the weekend doing whatever we feel like doing. I don't think we have all been together on Mother's Day weekend for quite a while. My sister is moving to Austin, so it will probably be another long while before it happens again. I'm looking forward to it!

18. i'm sure it will be hard for you.
when my dad died (years ago) i broke down crying when i saw father's day cards at the store. i did the same thing when i went to buy my mom an easter card and saw the duel parent cards--i'd never be able to buy those again either. it was really sad.

20. I know.
I almost can't bear the thought of it this year, but instead of hiding out, I think I'll call my siblings. I know they will also be having a difficult time.

And thanks for the hugs.

both the parents devastated by false abuse accusations and the children drowning in hatred and self-pity. Hoping that they will see through the garbage of their therapy before they lose each other forever.

I'll be working on a presentation to get rid of more of these charlatan therapists.
