Ever take someone off 'ignore'?
Just to see what their reply was?
And your suspicions were confirmed.
And you put them right back?
:-)

2. Yes.
That's why I'm keeping the door on my Dungeon of Ignorage tightly locked for now. I don't even want to look in there for awhile.

3. Yes... In more than five years I had NEVER put anyone on ignore, but
finally I did give in and put one person on ignore. But I really like to give people the benefit of the doubt, so I took him off ignore, and actually apologized to him, even though I felt he was the psychopath/instigator/aggressor. And in the following weeks I found a need to put him back on ignore.

He's the only one, but I still feel really sad, because I prided myself in never putting anyone on ignore, never hiding from a discussion or a good fight.

In the end, I gave in. I tried my best. One of these days I'll learn to forgive myself for my flaws and frailties, hopefully.

9. It doesn't sound like you are the one with "flaws and frailties".
Don't be so hard on yourself. Some people beg to be on that list.

5. When I made various posts about my cancer
two people replied who I had put on ignore. I took them off and haven't put them back on but then, I don't go into GD-P any more either. ;) I figure anyone who takes the time to send positive thoughts to a perfect stranger can't be all bad. :)

6. Yes
But one time I ended up liking the person and still do. But now I have multiple dipshits on my list--all from GD-P and I never check to see what they've posted because I don't give a rats ass.

7. I can't seem to keep anyone on ignore
I've tried it and I just can't. The only person I ever had on ignore for any length of time was Skinner. I don't know what I did to put him on there but it had to have been when I was new and playing with the features. I finally found him on the there about a year ago when I was trying to put someone on ignore.

if you click on printer-friendly format, it shows all replies, even those from people you have on ignore. Saves the trouble of un-ignoring...

18. Like Mike03 I haven't used ignore since I joined but the other night things got weird
in the lounge and everybody was going around talking about "ignore this" etc... so just to test the waters I put some of the people that have been rude or downright mean to me over the years on ignore just to see if I saw "a whole new lounge".

It's funny. I didn't see a different lounge at first. In fact I forgot I had done it until just tonight when I looked in on that "Grammar Geek" thread... Wow. (never mind about "just wow") It's like an IGNORED convention in there! lol.

To answer your question I haven't had a chance to change my account settings yet. Yeah. That's the ticket.
