She was wearing that purple heart bandaid on her chin to mock the purple hearts that John Kerry received. The meaning was that the military will give out purple hearts for just any old cut or bruise, which was just an attempt to downplay Kerry's service in Vietnam. There were a lot of people wearing those. It's just her cocky smile that gets to me too. Watching anyone mock the service of our veterans is just infuriating to me.
