Edited on Thu Feb-28-08 07:58 PM by Bicoastal
To make this fair, we're all going to use the same source, weather.com. Simply type in your zip code, and it does the rest.

So--right now, accoring to the Internets, it is 24 degrees in Brooklyn, NY (11201). Can anyone beat that?

BTW--what about the warmest? I just saw 78 degrees in Tucson--can anyone beat THAT?

It gets really, really hot here in the summer when that happens, sometimes over 110.

We are "way" inland and so usually our temperatures (especially during the summer) are different than what is reported. In the summer we are about 7-10 degrees warmer than is reported on the snooze.

97. No, it doesn't.
I just checked. It gasps, dies and topples over into one of our 6 foot snow banks. I'm going over to GD-P and warm myself in a flame war.

82. 18 in Glens Falls, NY....
It was 18 below this morning when I got to work so I suppose 18 above is a vast improvement.....

83. brrr!
:scared:

Isn't it funny when you get a 30 degree swing like that - it's like going from 60 to 90 but the range is still all cold!

87. it was really cold.
In fact, I had ice inside my windows that never defrosted until I got to work after a 35 mile drive.

94. you meant -18 in your first post, right? that's painful
I lived in MN for a few years and one time it got down to -30. Anything below zero is just dangerous and painful.

89. Phippsburg
about 40 min North of Portland. My husband just called. He's working right through the night so he's concerned about me and the kids keeping warm enough if the power goes out. We should be ok though, we have a woodstove. My landlord lives right next door too and checks in when we do lose power.

93. very cold for that area!
I have friends and family in Natick and Framingham - I can usually tease them for complaining because it's 5 or 10 degrees colder in central NY :)

Natick but I don't live there anymore. I used to wait for the bus into Boston for school at 6 AM and it would be -6 below! Really sucked on the mornings the town bus was late! It gets damn cold here... like it is tonight and I think the breeze here is making it feel even colder than 14 degree's tonight at my house. Brrrr! My fingers are even cold and hurting and I only have the window cracked open about a 1/4 inch or less.
