2. They are saying on the NY NBC affiliate...

that it is possibly the largest crowd ever for a NYC victory parade, trumping the 94 Rangers and 96 Yankees.

This is actually the first time the Giants had the opportunity to go down heroes canyon. In 87 Koch told them to stay in Jersey and in 91 the Gulf War was in full swing. So this is like three championships rolled up in one
