Well, I'm dragging my sick self out to the grocery store before I starve
I've had a really nasty case of the flu since tuesday, and I'm out of soup and crackers.

Wish me luck, and if you're in Sacramento stay off the roads. :scared:

5. I made it there and back okay.
I didn't get much. Apparently shopping while really not hungry isn't a great idea either.

8. Actually, that's the BEST time to shop.
Trust me on this one- shop while, er, um... "mentally enhanced" and you can blow the month's budget on chips and dip.

10. No danger of that here.
:)

Problem was, nothing looked good to me at all. So I wound up with 4 items and I'm going to have to brave the grocery store again in a day or two.

2. I hear you.
I realized 2 hours ago that I hadn't eaten today. Not my norm. Not sick, just overwhelmed. Park in the mostly unpopulated part of the lot. Makes the exit easier. Oh, and patience. Leverage it.

6. There goes my plan of getting you to fly out and make me soup
I went right before close, so I got a place right by the door with no trouble. I didn't want to get rained on too much.

11. I don't think I'd make it to the airport.
Never mind soup.

Go pet your car and tell her what a pretty girl she is. It'll make you feel better.

We got a return, and with our girl coming back today, that was two trips. PLUS catching up on two jobs since Friday...

She's IS really pretty. 3rd gear is like...orgasmic.

No names, please. n/t

Hee hee, see how I made it funny?

She was overprotective of the mother in the family. Did nothing wrong, but still put folks "on edge" with it. So, bcs, she's back.

18. You're supposed to PM me and tell me which dog.
:)

You'll find her a home with somebody who can deal with that behavior. Dakota (that's Jenn's wolf hybrid) is really really protective of Jenn, but it's never really been an issue.

9. Thanks, I'm working on it.
I've been sick since tuesday.

If I could talk I'd yell at my boss for having delayed my health insurance paperwork, because I really should go to the doctor.

Oh well.

19. Yeah, I went out when the store was mostly deserted and tried real hard not to talk to anybody
The cashier wanted to chat, but I kinda croaked "i'm sick" and she got the hint.

20. Thanks. So far LK is just fine.
This weekend he kept trying to get me to play with him, and I don't have the energy. I had to have his Dad come pick him up. :(

21. One thing that's helped me
is breathing steam. The stuff it's loosening up is like something out of a horror movie. I'm glad LK's ok...hope he doesn't get it.

22. I'm taking hot baths like they're going out of style, and using the saline nasal spray a lot.
LK almost never gets sick, and when he does he gets better crazy fast.

I did get to explain germ theory to him this weekend. But he doesn't totally understand, he kept trying to get me to wash my hands so I'd get better faster.

23. Awww...
I'm sorry my little guy's sick; but at the same time it was nice that he'd come over and give me a hug or a stuffed buddy and tuck me in like I was his kid.

Our boys will be terrific dads one day. :D
