2. do you own a crock pot?

1 early rising kitten (whole)
1 teaspoon crumbled dry oregano
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup sherry or water
3 tablespoons lemon juice
Salt and pepper

Wash kitten and kitten guts; pat dry. Season kitten with salt and pepper. Sprinkle half of garlic and oregano inside cavity of kitten. Melt butter in frying pan and brown kitten. Transfer to crock pot. Sprinkle with remaining oregano and garlic. Add sherry to frying pan, stir to loosen brown bits. Pour into crock pot.

Cover, cook over low (200 degrees) for 8 hours. Add lemon juice last hour. Transfer kitten to cutting board. Skim fat from juices and pour to a serving bowl. Carve kitten. Serve with juices over kitten.

10. I left the shower slowly dripping last night

hopefully to stop the pipes from freezing. Success, the pipes didn't freeze.

But, there was one smallish animal who thought attacking water drops is great fun. No matter if her soaked furry body slams against the shower door, banging and rattling, over and over and over.

WATER DRIP!!! ATTACK!!!

Oh well, who wanted sleep, anyway?
