this is a scaled down version of the questions I get from her....
she reads our local Funeral home web page for people she knows.....
if some one our age dies... she calls me and asks if I knew them

because the NAME sounds familiar....

Edited on Mon Jan-07-08 06:40 PM by texas1928
Them - "No?"

Me - "Whole bunch of people."

I do this to my mother all the time. When she calls and has to tell me about someone I did not know dying.

16. I was visiting a friend in NH once - his brother-in-law was like that
"So, where do you live now?"

"Is it an apartment or a town house?"

"Are you on the ground floor?"

"Do you have a patio?"

"Do you and your roommate share a bedroom?" (Answer was no).

"Does he have his own room or sleep on a foldout couch?"

I finally concluded the guy just wasn't incapable of making real conversation since his questions had very little point and he didn't seem particularly interested in the answers. It was his way of being polite.
