My husband is awesome... We have totally turned things around since July
18 years ago when we got married, we really had nothing!!!!!!!

our wedding set came from JC Penney and cost us about 200 dollars for ALL three rings.

tonight we did Christmas (daughter got one early last night ...guitar hero)

He told me that 18 years ago, he got me a cheap ring and has kicked himself ever since.

he got down on one knee and asked me to renew our vows on our Cruise in March and gave me a really huge solitare I am scared to wear it, it cost more than my first car

and...the enhancer will come when we renew our vows.

WOW>.

did not expect this at all

I was totally satisfied with my little speck truly

but

just

WOW

6. I understand, but you should still wear it!
I think that in time, you will become used to wearing it, and it will make your husband so damn proud!

It's gorgeous!

:woohoo:

17. If you're afraid, get it insured
you should be able to get it appraised by a professional and add it on to any home insurance that you have.

10. Some people do take them off for dishes, etc...
But then you run the risk of losing them...

I have a nice diamond ring that I wear all the time...

The only time it's off is when I go to bed, and then I have a little crystal ring holder where I put it.

So it's off when I sleep and when I take my shower...

Otherwise I wear it...

I don't want to lose it!

I'm not sure what's up with that other poster...

16. I hadn't thought about not wearing it at night
so it doesn't snag the sheets?

19. Snagging the sheets would be a factor for you...
With a design like yours where it sticks out ...

Mine is set flush with the gold, so it doesn't catch on things...a bezel setting...

I just like to be free of things when I sleep...

I'm funny that way!

18. I did the same for my wife last week
when we got married, she was unemployed and I had debts left over from my crazy-spending ex-wife... so, we bought a small ring off of a friend of hers. But, I told her I'd buy her a nice one when we had more money.

I tried to buy her one a few years back, but she refused.

But, finally she relented recently and we went down to Diamond Row in NYC and got one.

21. I wouldn't say that.
I'm usually the lucky one.

Congratulations on your ring, though.
