Gene and Paul were visibly pissed that Ace, who was either drunk or well on his way to it, truly made the Snyder interview watchable.

And, yes... Ace was always my favorite

those two have always been arrogantly defensive about what they do.
In that exchange, Ace gleefully embraces the absurdity of what they do. It's wonderful.
