Did anyone watch the Browns-Bills game yesterday?
I've never seen a game on live television played during a Lake Erie blizzard.
:D
Somebody wanted to know what the playing surface was like and I said "There wasn't one".

1. I was there...
I can not respond any further as I have officially died earlier today as a result. My death certificate will be posted later. Official cause of death: Ass cheeks frozen to plastic chair, coupled with exposure to extreme cold and harsh elements, (see drunken Cleveland fans).

3. You should get a medal for going to that game
The kicker more than deserved his captain "C" yesterday.

2. You mean
the latest "snow bowl"??

Man that was crazy, how could they tell where the out of bounds was?
You could see where they TRIED to clear it off but man, you could hardly see any of the lines.

Then when the Bills punter fell flat on his ass, I felt sorry for him but I HAD to laugh at that one.

15. There were time when you couldn't see the field.
Ice fog and snow were causing total white outs. Sometimes I really miss Lake Erie...

5. There hasnt been an 8-0 NFL game since 1929.
well done!

Meanwhile, I was watching Green Bay beat St Louis, while Favre broke the all-time passing record.

14. Watched it on TV
It was really something to see. My son wanted to buy my husband tickets to that game as an early Christmas gift. My husband took a pass because of the long drive back from Cleveland to Rochester. He was very glad that he was watching the game from his recliner and not in Cleveland.

16. Pats, Dolphins, and the snowplow
December 12, 1982. A date which ranks behind only the Super Bowl victories in the hearts of Patriots fans.

That's Don Hasselbeck (father of the Seahawks' Matt Hasselbeck and the Cardinals' Tim Hasselbeck) watching work-release parolee Mark Henderson save the day for the Patriots.

Late in the 4th quarter of a scoreless game, New England coach Ron Meyer had the plow clear a spot for kicker John Smith during a timeout. Smith made the field goal and the Patriots won by a score of 3-0.

Don Shula is still bent out of shape about this!

20. I knew our play-off hopes were over when the weather hit
Trent Edwards, the Bills' QB, has never played in weather like that. It is going to take a few years of living here to get used to it.

Hopefully, next year we have a playoff seed wrapped up before any weather insanity hits again.

Finally, at least we can royally screw up the Giants' playoff scenarion this weekend.

22. I was born in Columbus, so I root for the Browns when it doesn't interfere with the Bills
I'm not happy about our situation, but I'll be cheering the Browns on from this point out.
