1. Ok .... I have seen them many times .....

Well ..... more like 6 or 7 times ....

I loved them .... I worshipped Page, being a guitarist and all ... Still do ...

That being said: I found them a bit stale and boring when I last saw them ..... listless and unambitious ....

BUT ......

After what I have heard of the London show this week .....

The superlatives being tossed out there ...

Triumphant ?

Sublime ?

Extraordinary ?

Perfect ?

The MOST excellent Rock Concert of all time ?

I mean ... really ?

Really .....

I think we missed a great one ...... Page and Bonham are sober, and they have been working their ASSES off to get this show ready ...... and from what I am hearing: It paid off in spades .... I hear Page was his absolute BEST, and Plant was nearly there ....

Yes ..... I want to see them ..... I am hoping they haven't blown their entire wad yet ....

2. I only saw them once

April 18 1970 and the event was called after a 1/2 dozen songs because Plant lost his voice.

We had to listen to an hour or more of Page playing acoustic by his lonesome self. Poor us..... ;-)
