http://www.101cookbooks.com/archives/plum-and-peach-crisp-recipe.htmlThis is a fantastic and simple recipe from a website I think is hands-down one of the best food websites I have ever come across.
Months ago, after coming across the recipe there for Thousand Layer Lasagna, I was moved to order a pasta machine and give it a shot. Having chosen to make acres of parchment-thin pasta by hand, we now call the recipe Thousand Hour Lasagna around my house, but it absolutely rocked.
I bastardized it, making mine with fresh baby spinach and home-made pesto from the recipe on the site "How to make pesto like an Italian grandmother" And then, perhaps in our late-night delirium from cooking for 7 non-stop hours, we have the BRILLIANT idea to get out a collins glass and muffin pan... a few minutes later we were enjoying wonderfully caramelized mini-lasagnas I still dream about.
Anyway, I just thought I would share with you this great site and this cozy little dessert recipe that, cutting back some on the sugar, makes a nifty breakfast dish too. Sometimes you just hafta eat away your political problems before they eat away at you, hehe.
Cheers,
