16. not a pushover tonight

My husband's out of town for two nights so his mom doesn't want me to be alone (some people can't stand being alone, I really don't get it, I LOVE time alone) so she's tried to get me to go there for dinner, then tried to get me to go to a big Christmas party with them tomorrow night where I won't know anyone, then tried to get me to go spend the night with them so I won't be home alone.. hello, I'm THIRTY-SEVEN x( I've had to repeat the "no"s over and over. (note- two no's means fucking NO, if you keep on pushing then you are a bully) So now she's said she's gonna come spend the day with me tomorrow until they leave for the party, whoopy that'll be mellow, Not. She said we'd play a few games of Scrabble, it'll be fun! But I'm not playing Scrabble with her anymore because she cheats every time and I'm sick of letting it happen just because I'm a pushover. She's so used to getting her way with everyone, especially me, and I can tell whenever I've said "no" lately it's bothered her, like "Wait, what did you say? I've never heard that word before. Are you sure you mean it?"
So I don't know what I'll do with her tomorrow. I think she'll get here about ten and she said while ago they don't have to leave for the party until 6:00. So there goes my easy quiet Friday. Maybe I'll make her watch me make arts. I'll make her sit and stare at African with me, then at least I'll be getting something out of it.
