Bostons were bred for shorter snouts but nothing was ever done about their tongues. He has the tongue of a regular, full-snouted dog. It usually sticks out an inch or so and the harelip gives him a handy hole to stick it through.

The one on my boyfriend's computer is another of my masterpieces - it's a Pirate Bear. Product of a silly, alcohol-fueled conversation in which I somehow came up with the concept of a Pirate Bear, the sound of which walking across our deck would be, "Scuffle, scuffle, scuffle, THUNK!"
