Edited on Sat Dec-01-07 08:37 PM by lionesspriyanka
any time i do an online search for household stuff, they have the largest selection and the lowest prices

i guess it wouldn't be called a principle if it were easy to keep

3. I shop at Walmart
not a lot of choice where I live

don't usually go online for their stuff, there are enough Walmarts too go around here.

stand on your principles though... Walmart is like anything else, a mix of good and bad.

8. right, i wouldn't want you to bend your principles
we have 3 supercenters, a kmart on its last legs, and soon a target, but until then, not a lot else.

oh, and my employer just signed an exclusive contract with walmart pharmacy.

on the good side, walmart has spent a lot of money in Arkansas and other places giving back to the community.

the dark, dark side is that they are now such a giant corporate force that they can monopolize an area. It is actually an amazing feat that there will be a new super target here

:woohoo: target

7. You should buy a new keyboard at Wal Mart.
Your shift key has apparently stopped working.

13. tell me about it.
in my new little town, everytime I ask "where can I get ______?" the answer is always "Wal Mart"

I have been here 18 months and have only stepped foot in there twice and only to go to the bank on a Saturday

I'm proud to say I haven't bought anything there yet

14. Prices are low because their pay is low
Anyplace that has an HR staff to show their full time employees how to apply for welfare benefits will never get my business. People who work full time should be able to make a decent living.

Just wait for sales at other places; they'll come.

16. I know.
And now that their sales are finally starting to drop, they're offering $4 prescriptions, which will give them even more power among the elderly and the poor.

Fucking bastards. I stopped shopping there about 2003, and I'm so glad I did.
