29. It's not a stereotype, it's a slight exaggeration.

Sex drive fades with age so it doesn't apply so much to older males, but there have been LOTS of studies showing that 18-25 year old males will screw just about anyone if it's consensual and there are no social stigmas involved. I remember reading one study which found that most 18 year old guys would happily sleep with 40-50 year old women if they weren't otherwise sexually active <i>and</i> could prevent their friends from finding out (the sexual desire was there, but fear of riticule kept it in check).

Humans of both sexes are animals, and we have instinctual behaviors just like any other creature on this planet. One of the male human instinctual behaviors is to have sex as often as possible to gurantee procreation. Women have a slightly more reasoned set of reproductive instincts, but the fact that most women still have children is a good hint that those instincts are still at work.
