Okay, I'm drunk enough.
When the glasses fitting store supervisor checked my glasses prescription, she must've sensed I had the hots for her as, when she stepped up and went back to her other duties, she touched me on the shoulder after I said "Thank you for checking".

How should I read that incident? I did notice she had no wedding ring on, but that isn't indicative of much these days.

Much thanks.

Seriously.

P.S. For being hammered, I'm doing a great job of retaining my ability to spell and remain grammatically correct. My tolerance must be increasing... fascinating...

1. That shoulder thing...
It means that she wants to own your soul and have your love child.... really..It's in the handbook all women get when the graduate from girl class.

2. Even I, as much as in a drunken pathetic stupor, can
see your response is utterly sarcastic.

Which is good, given the learning disability and other shit I had to grow up with despite being tested with a very high IQ...

3. HT, I have no idea.
You may need to take the risk and ask her out.
Just remember that if she says no, it's not a reflection on you. Maybe she's in a committed relationship and just likes being nice to guys.

It's a minefield, but IMHO you're better off trying to navigate it.

5. I've wondered about the shoulder thing myself. A young waitress touched my shoulder last week when

she brought my water, but I don't think she was interested in me that way. At a work party a few years ago, the wife of one of the higher-ups was standing by our table and had her hands on my shoulders. She looked down and said, "Who am I fondling?" and everybody started laughing.

If you think the supervisor might be interested, why not talk to her some more? You never know what might happen!
