Is it possible to have a learning disability into adulthood?
I think I might be dyslexic. I often times look at words and even though I know they are spelled correctly, they just don't look right. That and I still have to think about which way the "hooks" on the letters "J" and "L" face.

3. Of course! Why not?
My friend is just now going back into college. I had him meet with our disability support coordinator who discovered that he suffered from dysgraphia, a condition somewhat similar to dyslexia - only it was more like he couldn't think of how to write things and spent so much time concentrating on the mechanics of writing that he would forget what he wanted to write. Through school, his teachers either treated him as lazy, or just mildly retarded. It's a real tragedy, considering how intelligent he actually is.

4. Yes, and we become very clever at hiding our disability...
and by promoting our good attributes, our faults are discounted. It's hard work, but necessary.
