I don't care who you are or what you want to talk about. Chances are if you meet me somewhere I will just be in for a good conversation. I like people, even with their many faults, because I am a very flawed person myself.

So here you are looking at your computer screen and reading my words. My desire is to be close to you, but chances are that we are very far away. So the next time you go somewhere to hang out and you notice that lone person sitting at the end of the bar who apparently is all alone, think about me. Because that is likely the kind of person I am. Just someone going somewhere to hang out and hopefully meet a kind soul who wants to talk about whatever.

Sing for absolution. I am, too. :)

6. That's cool as fuck
I'm about 40 miles away from you. We've had an Ohio meet up before. Maybe we should have a southwestern Ohio meet up. I know of at least two other kind souls who live in that area. That would at least be four. In my book that makes for a damn good party!

4. That is beautiful, Droopy...
You have the soul of a poet, yes you do...

You and I know each other.

Even though we haven't met in person yet, we still know each other.

I know that you can meet someone online, and become good friends there, just as you would in a bar, or anywhere.

I hope you get to meet someone who will be kind, and want to talk about whatever...

The smart ones sing for absolution....oh yes, they do...

11. How did you meet anybody?
Have you stayed within your closely accepted friends from high school or did you take a chance on someone?

13. I've found that the best way to meet people is to find things that you enjoy doing
that way you're sure to meet people who have at least one common interest with you. :)

Although, funny story from fairly recently, I met one girl on a dating site... turned out I'd talked to her online in a reptile forum elsewhere, and if I'd known she lived RIGHT DOWN THE STREET from me I probably would have tried to meet her then. There was no attraction, so we didn't end up dating, but we had a whole bunch in common so we ended up becoming good friends.
