The "doctor" who operated on my sister's elbow REALLY fucked up.

There is no end to the outrage I feel, and what she must be feeling- when the so-called Medical Miracle Worker put her arm back together for her, I don't know what he did but ya sure as hell can't call it "healing".

In a six hour operation he later bragged to her about, instead of removing the bone fragments he left them all in, pinning everything together with plain stainless steel pins. He completely failed to reconstruct the joint- every time she tries to use her arm now it actually disjoints once she bends it past a certain point, thus becoming useless. Instead of putting it into a rigid cast he simply wrapped it. Later, when his office fitted her for a rigid brace, THEY GAVE HER A BRACE FOR THE WRONG ARM. She had no way to know since it wasn't marked. She only knew it was uncomfortable as hell and didn't appear to be doing her any good. Duh- the damned thing was on backwards because it was FOR THE WRONG ARM. THEY FITTED HER IN THE OFFICE AND NOT ONE OF THEM REALIZED IT WAS WRONG.

I got information on a sports injury specialist via a client of mine, and I told her about it. She got a referral and went there today for an examination, and weeks after she shattered her elbow the REAL doctor examined her and promptly went ballistic when he saw what had been done to her. To top it off it looks like she may have an infection that's going into her bones.

Her new doctor is going to open her arm up and repair all the damage the original incompetent moran managed to do. I've been saying for weeks she should go for an artificial joint- this may indeed be what needs to happen now.

This is beyond horrible. This is beyond abysmal. This is incompetence of the highest order, and this quack needs to have his license pulled before he manages to kill a patient.

I am PISSED OFF.

2. That's fucked up.

I hope she gets a lawyer and soaks that guy big time. That's just unimaginable incompetence!

I just found out today that my dad isn't going to be able to get the shoulder surgery he had planned because the insurance company found a way to refuse coverage. 10 grand out of pocket they want...

Guy works his entire life and now has to spread out his 10 doctor visits a year so he can get a steady scrip of pain pills just so he can play with his grandson.
