Jumpers- the apparel item. How do you feel about them?
I bought a red and black plaid jumper, brought it home, and then determined that I can ONLY wear it with tights and black knee boots, or I look like a kindergartener.

It looked kind of "punk" on the hanger but it just looked little-kiddish on, without the boots.

What are your feelings on this fashion trend?
Like it? Hate it?
Wear it with tights? leggings? boots? flats?

I can't bring myself to wear leggings yet, and I think it's well established that I hate flats.

I'm just curious what other gals are doing.

1. I'm small and non-curvy, so I'd look like pedo bait in one.
When I see a grown woman in a jumper I tend to think "fundamentalist" because for some reason they seem really fond of them.

3. Hahhh!
My mom thought I looked "REALLY CUTE!!!" in mine.
That alone gives me cause to reconsider the wisdom in wearing it...

2. I never liked them for exactly that reason
I always felt like I should be wearing pigtails and carrying a lunchbox. Which, knowing the pevvy proclivities of some of the male species, would probably have gotten me a ton of attention. :eyes:

I'm not fashion conscious enough to know what a that dress thing is called. :P

I could never wear one. I'd look awful.

7. What's a jumper?
And, as a newbie, what is K&R?

Thanks!

9. I like jumpers for their ease of wear
but they tend to erase a woman's natural curves. They should make some that are fitted in the waist (just a bit) so that we don't all end up looking like schoolgirls.

13. I really like them. I think that they look best on women with...
smallish hips, which I don't have no matter how thin I am overall. (You can't diet away bones. :()

14. Oh that is DEFINITELY me!
I have mini-hips. I had no hips before I had kids, now I have small ones, at least.
Hips are sexy and feminine! I bet yours are just. fine.
