28. I love Hilton Head.

Spent summers there as a child and lived there for a year not too long ago.

They even allow dogs on the beach during the winter. My pooches LOVED it.

i still plan to. But what with the fire rocking me back on my heels a bit...things are on hold for the time being. Had to move, get settled etc.

Plus I am changing jobs and just in general - trying to get a grip on my new life. Enjoying all the new experiences, but it'll take a while to know where I am, so to speak. Maybe I can come for skiing this winter.

31. If Hilton Head is what I think it is, Id be...

... driving up the coast, crossing the state line into NC, catching a ferry and stay in Ocracoke instead. No chain stores (Wwalmart is two to three hours away), not overdeveloped, 12 miles of pristine beach, you can take your dog, go fishing and have a wonderful time. It's my favourite beach.

Hilton Head sounds too snobbish to me.

It was a bit boring when I was there by myself years ago ... but now ~ I would just call it a relaxing beer_buzz_in_the_morning_kinda_day followed by a Bloody Mary Lunch.
