Help with DU sticky (image)

I don't know where I go to ask for help on this. There isn't an "administrators" forum anymore (not that I could find, anyway).

So... I've got this image all prepared, and it's sitting in a folder on my hard drive. The form lets me "choose" it (from my hard drive) for uploading, and the correct path to it appears in the text box... but when I go to either preview or submit, I get an error message indicating that I haven't selected an image to upload. What am I doing wrong?

1. Does the error message say you haven't selected an IMAGE

or does it say you haven't selected an image TYPE?

Have you selected one of the .jpg or .gif radio buttons?

The error message says, specifically:

Error: Please select an image file to upload

3. Is it the right size?

Not greater than 92 pixels square? And not larger than 10K?

I can't think of anything else that might be wrong. What browser you using?

4. yes, 92 x 92, 3K. Opera.

Maybe I'll try it with firefox, and see if that's it. Lots of sites don't play well with Opera.

9. I confess, I'm hoping!

I got a digital camera for Christmas from my beerly beloved, and I've got a few GREAT shots... Most of them are too big to use as a sticky, though. Of course, I also have many, many stupid shots, a few ok, a few, good... but that's one of the great ones, that is also of a suitable subject to reduce down to 92 pixels. My other sticky is the "toad" -- another one of my favorite shots.
