I have had an epiphany
when I eat junk.... I feel like crap.

I don't mean in general either. It's almost immediate. When I eat something either fatty or sugary or nutritionally worthless, within 30 minutes I feel as though I could either vomit, or drop for exhaustion.

1. That's not an epiphany. That's indigestion
A lot of people get those confused though. Michael Chertoff for example.

:)

5. I can usually feel it quickly, too - esp. stuff with carbs and oil.
Unless it's cold, or if I'm physically working, carbs and sugars can make me feel awful. I don't dare eat potato chips or fries or a soda or have pie for lunch, or when I'm driving. I get very tired and run down.

If I have a salad, or meat and veggies, I do much better.

6. Have your blood sugar checked
I had the same problem. I ate a pop-tart at work for breakfast and suddenly got so weak I couldn't get o ut of a chair. I emailed a colleage for help and he took one look at me and called an ambulance. The doctor and it was a hypoglylemic reaction and told me to lay off the sugar.
