Those with exercise expertise: I have a question about receding cellulite.
The excess weight on my body is around my hips and upper, upper thighs near my chukiss. I've been exercising like a mad woman for the last month, cardio and weight work. I can feel right now the great shelf between cellulite and muscle on my upper thighs. Does cellulite recede with exercise? Do the fat cells shrink? How does this work?

With much curiosity,

Writer the Hoss.

3. Cellulite
You could ask 10 folks these questions, and you'll get 10 different answers.

Your best bet is to carefully watch your diet, keep up the cardio, amp up the weight work in a big way. The less fat you have, the less cellulite you'll appear to have.

4. Right... yes... but what I'm wondering is...
if increasing muscle mass merely hides the fat, or if the fat itself will simply reduce as I exercise. I'm asking this because as I exercise I'm noticing growing muscles but not much reduction in fat/cellulite.

11. Cellulite will be the last thing to "go"
Increasing muscle mass and decreasing bodyfat will reduce the appearance of cellulite. Also, keep in mind that the more muscle you have, the more calories you burn every day.

12. One can't completely get rid of it
But massaging the cellulite-laden areas of your body will help reduce the bumpy appearance.

15. I only know one loses fat...
...in the reverse order that it was acquired. In other words, Last in, first out.

Regretably, I did not learn this from personal observation.

17. Ummm, what?
Some women have it and some don't. I certainly know a number of heavy women who have cellulite, not only on their legs but elsewhere. Thin women too. Hell, I know teenager girls who have cellulite. It's a curse!
