Father allegedly put girls in trunk
Says they asked him to do so

By April Yee, Globe Correspondent | July 17, 2007

WRENTHAM -- After serving as a field artillery man in Iraq, John French learned to be on the lookout -- even when sitting on the concrete benches alongside Foxborough's Boyden Library. On Sunday, he noticed a man and two children in a silver Chevy Cobalt pulling up at a retirement home across the street from where he was sitting.

"He looked like an average gentleman," said French, 24 in a telephone interview yesterday. "He had a nice little car, the two girls. I didn't think anything of it when they got out. But you never know, you know? And when he put the two girls in the trunk, I knew something was wrong." ~snip~

General guidelines for responding:

1. Don't read the article at the link
2. Assume you can deduce the facts by pure speculation
3. Everything has a broader meaning: this story probably sheds light on what's wrong with almost any modern social group you can imagine
4. Only wimps hold back from expressing an immediate opinion
5. There's absolutely no reason to be courteous to those who disagree with you
