my guess, anyway. His early, stupid homophobic, racist, and misogynistic blather was pure Repub. Lately, he's been making noise like he's growing up, paying attention to what's happening beyond himself, and getting some awareness. So, he's moving left. you should take the homophobic stuff for what it's worth. it's just excessive macho nonsense that all rappers do. but he's a poor kid from detroit, and believe me, he doesn't forget his roots.

and watch the video for "white america," if you're still not sure what his political leanings are. and surely we haven't forgotten the whole secret service debacle after that "I'd rather see the president dead" line in the leaked song.
