2. Well in our neck of the woods, it stand for "white nigger", or white kids that wannabe "ghetto".
So, yeah, I think it's offensive.

3. I find the behavior that it describes to be offensive...
since it denotes those who think to be Black is to be an ignorant, inarticulate thug.
And,of course, that mindset is essentially racist.
The term is brilliant. It even contains the morpheme "wig" And, of course, a wig is a constructed artificial masking device. Absolutely brilliant.

4. I don't care for that word
Not only is it a play on words with a clearly offensive, racist term, but it also is a play on racist stereotypes (how does one "act black" anyway?). Yeah, I find the word offensive and completely unnecessary.

5. Yes, it is offensive.
I do find the people who are called that peculiar also. It is always sad to see people trying to be something they aren't.

6. do you find the term "n*****" offensive?!?!?!
Hell yes "w*****" is offensive!!

It's just the "n-word" with a "w" so it applies to "whites" who are acting like (so-called) "n's" and so the freaking white privileged little b@st@rds can get away with saying it!!

aaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrr :banghead: rrrrrrrrrrrrrgggggggggghhhhhhhhhh

7. My feelings exactly...
What is so wrong with anyone, regardless of skin color or ethnicity, simply being themselves?

I don't act black, white, or anything else. I act derby, and that's good enough for me.

:hi:

8. oh thank god -
I thought I was going to have to start an ignore list.

It's a horribly offensive term. My brother's kids used it 11 years ago. We had a huge fight because I told them in no uncertain terms NOT to use it in my (then) 5 yo's presence.

11. I can't say I use that term
I think I may use K-Fed instead :P

Actually when I was a teenager "wigger" was a popular term but I think it always made me unconfortable so I wouldn't say it. "Wannabe" was another, but just didn't sound as bad to me.
