1. Win a huge lottery jackpot
Which I would then use to take my family from poverty to the middle class, set up trusts and college funds for the kids, enroll in my #1 choice college without considering the cost, invest enough to keep us happy and comfortable for the rest of our lives...and then give the rest away to charity.

16. Thats a good way to use the wish
I think all of us with chilluns want that.

For me.. I'm going with the windfall of money motif.

With that I could take daughter to the best doctors if needed, clear my debt, go to college, move closer to people I love, volunteer more, give money to people who need it to make their dreams real, eat better, go on one hell of a roadtrip, get air conditioning and use it if I wanted, etc.. etc :P

Just sayin...

They are all droolers. Hehe.

Duke, the cat and Maya are still at the stare at each other stage. There have been some sniffs, but no really contact yet. Once they get over that, I think they will be friend.

I'm keep the dogs away. They looked too eager to get to her and I couldn't tell if if was to sniff or to eat. She's still so tiny.

So I can't choose one based on personal circumstances. I guess that the entire Republican cabal goes down in flames and is replaced by enlightened Dems who actually do something to fix this wretched planet rather than just say pretty words about it.

74. Why, bless you.
It's funny you should mention poetry because I did write a bit for her this past week. Nothing mushy given that she does still have a boyfriend, but to let her know that I think she is stunning and I enjoy seeing her at work. I'm no Shakespeare, but I do write well and I know of married women who I dated many years ago who still have some of my cards to them tucked away. So, we shall see. I'm sure she did as women do and showed the card to her sister and her mom so they could be impressed by what she got. I make my cards on the computer by putting an image on the front I get from google and writing my message. On the back I used a pun phrase I have used since high school and wrote "An Isle of Ewe Card" with a cartoon picture of a sheep on which I drew a balloon talkie thing and wrote in it "baaa". I though it was a light, funny touch, but I don't know if she got it. Here's hoping though.
