Help, my hubby becomes a JERK when he drinks caffeine!!

He acknowledges that caffeine is NOT good for him, it makes him really edgey at work and he gets very short-tempered. For awhile he stopped drinking it and said he felt so much better, but now he is back on it, and he is treating me really rudely. His excuse is, that when he is in a meeting, he can't not drink coffee. It's making me very annoyed at him. He calls for advice about things and he is wound tight like a spring. When he comes home he is critical and short with me. I've tried ignoring, confronting, everything.

I stopped drinking coffee for health reasons almost 3 years ago, don't miss it at all. Any suggestions as to how to handle this? He's making me nuts. The only times I can stand him are on the weekends when he drinks decaf~!!!
